Front Page

When you first access the site at http://www.ChristianTestimonyMinistry.com  you will be shown the home page of the Christian Testimony Ministry, formerly known as the Christian Tape Ministry. This home page has several major portions:

1. A navigation bar along the right side that will direct you to all the messages on the site organized in serveral different ways.
2. The About Page just below, which describes the mission of the Christian Testimony Ministry
3. The Key Topics, along the center, which provide summaries of key topics in the Christian walk with links to books and messages about those topics.
4. The Recent Messages section lists the most recently added messages on the site.

Finding

To find a message of interest one can use the search box in the upper right corner of every page on the site.  The image to the right shows the search input box.  Enter the text to search for an press enter or click the 'Go' button.

Another way to find a message is to use the browse box on the left side of each page.  One can browse the ministries on the site by speaker, venue, topic, language, scripture reference, etc.  The browse page has three panels that appear in succession as you focus in on a ministry.  For example, if you browse by speaker, the first panel will list all of the speakers with ministries on the site.  Click on a speaker name and the second panel opens that lists the ministries by that speaker, and the first panel collapses.  Click on a ministry by that speaker and a third panel opens with details on that ministry, and the second panel collapses.  To go back to either the first or second panel, click on the maximize cross (see the image to the right) on the right side of the collapsed panel. The selected panel will restore and you can select from it again.

Playing

To listen to a selected ministry, click on the 'Listen' link on the detail panel.  A Flash based audio player will appear and automatically start playing.  To download a ministry, click on the ' MP3' link on the detail panel, a download should start immediately.  If it doesn't or your browser reverts to playing the audio you can right-click on the 'MP3' link and select Save Link As... to save it as an MP3 file. 

To watch a ministry that has video, click on the 'Watch Video' link and a Flash based video player will be displayed in the center of your page.  You will need a recent version of the Flash video player for this to work correctly.

Purchasing

Most of the books, audio, and video recordings can be purchased as physical copies.  We strive to sell the physical copies at cost so as to not hinder the release of the word of the Lord.  On each item that is purchaseable there are links to purchase as a CD, DVD, or book as appropriate.  The purchase process is similar to other web sites and uses PayPal to receive payment via credit card or PayPal account. 

Helping Out

The Christian Testimony Ministry is an all volunteer effort. Most of our volunteers live in the state of Virginia in the United States.  But, due to the Internet, anybody in the world can help out.  Many of the messages on this site lack scripture references or summaries.  You can help out by emailing the references or summaries to the maintainers of the site by clicking here.

Redistribution

The Lord has freely given the messages found on this site, therefore we feel it appropriate to freely give them to all comers.  We encourage our users to share the site and the messages found herein with others.  But, for various legal and practical reasons the messages are copyrighted.  Therefore, if you would like to distribute them more widely we ask that you seek prior permission from Christian Testimony Ministry.  Permission is usually granted readily with two simple conditions: 1) That the messages are not edited except to improve the quality, 2) The copies retain attribution that the recordings came from www.christiantestimonyministry.com.
